Total Let Down

Well this is supposed to be the Losing Weight for Dummies 4.

I didnt feel like dieting
I didnt feel like exercising
I didnt feel like doing anything

So, that's exactly what I did, N.O.T.H.I.N.G.
Highlight of the week was one hour ride with Batman.

I have lost my modjo and I desperately need to get it back

Fully aware of what I need to do to lose this extra kilos that I have piled up, I am doing nothing and sometimes I couldnt care less. Which is not me at all. Would the real anak mami please stand up? This impostor is misbehaving and creating havoc !

I read with envy of friends running here and there and clocking a pb after pb. And then it hits me.

If and when I start again, it'd be from the bottom again and there is no way I can be in the same league of the others. Sigh. Probably this is why I am down???

So the whole of last week, I ate to my heart's content. And I did nothing. And I dont know about this week. Been two days and yep I have been eating.

I seriously need to sit myself down and talk to me and get back the old me. When I find me then all will be swell again.

Wish me luck.

I guess its one of those phase that we go through, its just that mine comes with a "heavy" impact. LOL.

What pictures do you have in your handphone??

Continuing from Zarin's blog ... here's mine .. but ooh so teruk the collections only to affirm my kids complaining "you no need all these expensive phone lah Ibu, ada camera pun tak pernah pakai" LOL .. and they are right, I hardly pull out my phone to capture something .. I will just witness and remember :)

So in my handphone mostly are pictures of the kids and pictures that I collect to use as my wallpaper .. I think I must do this one picture a day project next year, force me to use my camera on my phone and it must be a self photographed pic and not cilok form webs haha ..

I love to collect cute animal pictures as these :)

azam is a very cautious young lad, he doesnt do roller coasters, or other rides for fear of things might go wrong but he gathered up his courage and did this, we were all so proud of him !! (tapi masa nak start tu muka toreh pisau pun tak berdarah you haha)

Losing Weight For Dummies - Week3

A total goner week .. but here's how it went ..


Breakfast : cereal with banana and coffee
Lunch : mee goreng and 100+
Dinner : bit of mix vege, yoghurt

water, horlicks and no workout ..


Breakfast : cereal with banana, coffee
Lunch : beef patties with veges, tomato salsa
Dinner : yoghurt, veg soup small bowl, bilis bun

hot lemon passion tea, snacked on some mangga jeruk hihi ..
45mins swimming

Wednesday (frust mode since trip to PBIM has to be cancelled)

Breakfast : frust punya pasal .. McD chicken muffin breakfast LOL ..
Lunch : bilis bun, diet coke, munched on sunflower kernels
Dinner : was out wt the young jb runners, girls nite out :) so yeah ..beef kuew teow and coffee and lots of laughs

45min horse riding , a good day :)


Mode rebelling tak dapat gi Penang

Breakfast : bilis bun, coffee
Lunch : nasi goreng kampong - talk abt rebelling lol
Dinner : yoghurt and munched on peanuts and sunflower kernels

no workout


Breakfast : 2 slices of toasted bread spread with sambal tumis hehe, coffee
Lunch : caesar salad and lime juice
Dinner : yummylicios seafood hehehe , diet?? siapa diet??? lol (was hosting some guests)

Coffee and snacked on sunflower kernels .. selagi tak habis tak puas hati lol .. and swam for 45 mins

Saturday and Sunday busted day since I had to "entertain"! Husband's office had some important clients to entertain and they brought their wives , it was initially his boss's and wife's agenda but the boss had to go to qatar for an emergency leaving my husband with his duties and thus since wives were involved so I was dragged into it .. my reason to missing my PBIM trip .. food was sinful LOL .. and yeah no workout either !

So yeah, no change in weight, but I dont feel as bloated .. but yeah the needle did not budge, or my weighing machine is busted??

Well, on to another week and after this I will quit if the needle still did not budge LOL ..

Losing Weight For Dummies - Week 2

Err, well it didn't start well, lol .. You live once and we gotta enjoy it right??? Ngeh ngeh ngeh ..

Monday - its still a holiday and I didn't feel like eating cereal lol ..

Breakfast : Small bowl of fried rice, coffee
Lunch : 4 tablespoons of yummylicious blueberry cheese ice cream (in my defense we had power cut for almost 3 hours, rather than all go to waste .. hihi)
Dinner : grilled chicken and veges, hot passion lemon tea

Through out the day another coffee and 1 pack of wheat biscuit

45 mins light workout


Had slight migraine (excuses, excuses for no cereal day)

No breakfast. Slept in then rushed to send Yana to the bus terminal.
Brunch : McD's classic chicken, minus the bun and fries. Just the meat. Coffee.
Dinner : couldn't resist my all time favourite summer stack cake at Starbucks (in my defense, again, they haven't had this for TWO full months, and I am not waiting another two months lol)

So yeah two days busted!!

No work out and throughout the day water. No other sinful snacks hihi

Wednesday - am being a good girl again :)

Breakfast : cereal with strawberries slices, yoghurt, coffeea
Lunch : 2 packs of wheat biscuits, a pear, coffee
Dinner : 1 yoghurt, munch on a fist of mixed nuts

seems to be little eh? but i was not hungry, guess my body is adjusting to the new eating habits :)

1 full hour of good workout with Silver. A good riding day for me, I am much better and hardly any thoughts of falling off anymore :)


Breakfast : cereal with strawberries, yoghurt, coffee
Lunch : an apple, 1 currypuff, 3 small pieces of fried wantan, hot lemon tea
Dinner : yoghurt, coffee, 3 packs of wheat biscuits

Sips of gatorade from time to time, hot milo , water. 45mins of swimming, divided into laps and workouts in the water :)


Breakfast : cereal with strawberries, yoghurt and coffee
Lunch : shrimp wantan soup, 1 currypuff, hot lemon tea
Dinner : yoghurt and 3 packs of wheat biscuits

water, snacked on one mini mars bar, half hour swimming, the sun was too hot to do my normal 45-1hr .. anak mami dah cukup tan ok !


Slept in, cleared some housework and headed to giant, no breakfast

Early lunch (noon) : 1/2 bowl of prawn mee, lemon juice, coffee
Tea : lapar lah pulak .. had two toasted butter scotch bread with coffee
Dinner : couldnt resist my own cooking, mee bandung LOL ..

no work out .. camne lah nak kurus camni haha

Sunday - hardest day to diet ..

Breakfast : roti bakar cicah kari salmon youuu .. 3pcs of wholemeal bread with ooffe and juice
Lunch : a banana and a pear, coffee, munched on sunflower seeds
Dinner : seafood tomyam, hot lemon tea

it was a truly lazy sunday, no workouts, no nothing .. sigh LOL

Weight lost for this week : NIL !! at least I didnt gain .. but its that time of the month last week and probably bloated up for that reason? Will I see sudden drop this week? hahaah, only time will tell!

That's 4 days of busted diet but then again I dont think I ate that much anyway, some could have lost so much by now. See how hard it is for me? sigh sigh lol .. I am lacking exercise I know, so used to more strenous and longer hours of working out which has now dwindled down to mere 45mins of almost nothing! I need my modjo back, fast and furious !!

Here's to next week though I can tell you today, next weekend my diet is going out of the window because , insyaallah, I will be in Penang for the PBIM's race, setting up my FMV/Anak Mami's kedai runcit .. have you ever heard of someone going on a diet when in Penang??? so yeah lol .. laksa, pasembur, etc etc here I come ngeh ngeh ngeh ..

I guess the 4th week would be THE week that I would attempt the diet with no cheatings whatsoever, hopefully.

Losing Weight For Dummies - Week 1

I am by no mean a diet expert. So please if at all you want to start a regime, do it slowly and listen to your body. Or check with your doctor. Different body reacts differently, what works for me might not work for others. This regime doesnt allow you to eat that much, so if at all at any time you feel dizzy or like you have not enough food, please do not continue, change it to suit your body.

Well, here was how my week went !

Monday 31/10

Breakfast : cereal and coffee
Lunch : 2 sambal bilis bun, 1 mochi (tak lapar and no mood to eat hehe)
Dinner : cereal and yoghurt
Notes : through out the day I drank plenty of water, had 2 more coffee servings and 2 packets of wheat crunch biscuits (4 pieces per packet)

45 mins of swimming

Tuesday 1/11

Breakfast : cereal, one pack of 110ml anlene milk and coffee
Lunch : KFC snack plate, no mash potato extra coleslaw, coffee, a piece of pineapple and strips of mango
Dinner : cereal and yoghurt
Notes : through out the day water and hot lemon tea, coffee err one mochi hihi

45 mins of swimming

Wednesday 2/11

Breakfast : cereal and milk
Lunch : baked fish, salad, a portion of boiled potato
Dinner : yoghurt and 2 packs of wheat crunch biscuits, one mini mars bar
Notes : through out the day  water, one hot passion lemon tea, one coffee

45 mins of horse riding

Thursday 3/11

Breakfast : cereal, coffee
Lunch : half nasi lemak, telur goreng and loads of sambal, sayur and ikan bilis
Dinner : banana and yoghurt
Notes : through out the day water and had 1 more coffee and 1 hot lemon tea ..no snacks

30 mins of swimming and 30 mins of strength training (dumbell workout)

Friday 4/11

Breakfast : cereal, banana, milk
Lunch : small chicken bun, fried Meehoon extra vege, hot lemon passion tea
Dinner : very small bowl of spaghetti (cheated hehehe)  (was enticed by my own cooking lol)
Notes : throught out the day, water, coffee, 1 hot milo  and 1 pack oats biscuit (4 pieces)

No workout :(

Saturday 5/11

Breakfast : slept in, by the time I woke, cleared some housework etc, its lunch time hihi
Lunch : bowl of vegetable soup with chicken strips, banana, apple juice
Dinner : bit of lemang, beef rendang ..sigh cheated again lol
Notes : through out the day, some grapes, coffee

45 mins aerobics (at home yoo, step sendiri lol)

Sunday 6/11

Breakfast : cereal, banana, coffee yay ..no raya Bfast!!
Lunch : salmon with veges and omelette
Dinner : 2 yoghurt
Notes : through out the day, coffee and 2 mochi

No work out

Weight started : 65.5kg (yep that's how heavy I am lol)
Weight after a week : 65.5 kg (yep you read it right!!)

Some would have lost at least 2kg with this diet LOL.

And why am I not whining? Because I know my body, its slow to accept new regime and slow to start shedding (that's why I have to do this pronto, takes ages to lose, yikes) .. back in Klang when I first joined the gym, people around me were losing weight the first month and I was still the same and after the 2nd month I slowly began to shed! So I am hoping this is the case, and also I am not exercising as much as before, 45mins a day of swimming is no way equivalent to the work out I had in Klang and it was a minimum of an hour day of good hard work out, and some days a full 2 hour workout, and also I have my runs.

I have somehow lost my modjo to do any workout .. I have to literally force myself to go down to the pool or do some strength training, all the time reminding myself that I HAVE TO DO THIS or else the muffin top will swell over horribly ..

So hopefully this week, I will have better motivation to do more workouts, a more strenous ones and also by end of this week at least I would have lost a bit, even an ounce :)

            biscuits : munchy's wheat krunch (hi-fiber)

If you truly are the better person then :-

you would just take it all in, smile and move on and not say anything

cos a better person knows those kind of things are useless and not worth your time pondering about it ..

Just saying  people, just saying ..........
I guess it does takes all kinds of people to make the world LOL ..
